The Dirty Dozen & Clean 15
In an ideal world we know that buying and consuming organic produce is best for our bodies but the reality is that's not always an option. Unfortunately, it’s hard to avoid pesticides if you are not buying or growing organic produce.
Pesticides are chemicals known as 'hormone disruptors' which can contribute to hormonal imbalances.
The dirty dozen & clean 15 is a break down of what product has the most and what has the least amount of pesticides. The aim of this list is for you to be able to make more education decisions on reducing your toxin load and better support your health and hormones.
It's a great place to start when trying to cut down on your pesticide intake which can contribute to hormonal imbalances.
Other ways to cut down cost is to grow some of your own produce, especially things on the dirty dozen list! Take a screenshot of this list to save and refer back to when next doing your groceries.
